Halesowen Town 1, Evesham United 0
UNITED came within inches of taking a deserved lead three minutes before the break.
Danny Lennon did some great work in the Town 18-yard area from where Michael Hayden chipped in a cross that defender Tom Kemp against his own crossbar.
Appeals for a penalty were then waved aside when Mark Hands went down under a challenge.
The action moved swiftly to the opposite end where Dave Adey made the save of the game when diving to his left to keep out a left-footer from Mark Danks.
However, Adey was left wrong-footed a minute into stoppage-time when Justin Rowe glanced Dean Brennan's centre past the Evesham stopper.
