A CHARITY Gala day hosted by Hampton Ferry last weekend raised £1,200 for a variety of local charities.
The annual event, now in its third year, included a mix of charity and trade stalls alongside special guests, Boris the boa constrictor and alpacas Cosmo and Ewen. There was also live music played by Avonbank Brass Band and the Jayne Steel Jazz Trio and a fun dog show held for local pups in the afternoon raised money for The Dogs Trust.
Many other charities benefited from the fund-raising day including St John Ambulance, Caudwell Children, Cancer Research UK, Evesham and Pershore Mind, Evesham Volunteer Centre and Evesham Community Minibus.
Organiser Fran Webb thanked everyone who helped to make the day a success.
