POLICE officers used their four legged friends to sniff out illegal tobacco in Evesham this week.
West Mercia Police teamed up with Worcestershire County Council Trading Standards to round up the tobacco.
The operation in Evesham resulted in bags upon bags of the smokes being seized on Wednesday.
Trading Standards tweeted: "Our officers have been out in Evesham today looking for illegal tobacco.
"Another successful operation with more illegal product seized."
But, what is illegal tobacco?
Illicit whites – brands which have no legal market in the UK, often from Eastern Europe
Non-UK duty paid – genuine UK brands brought into the country and sold without duty being paid
Counterfeit – illegally manufactured and made to look like recognised brands
