Worcestershire Federation’s resolution has been adopted for National AGM

A copy of “Opening Doors” the federation centenary book has been given to each WI. This is available for members to read.

Several members attended the federation meeting at Number 8 where the speaker was Graham Walton, father of sextuplets, whose talk was informative, interesting and hilarious.

Pershore WI is holding a Drum Workshop, contact secretary for details.

Avoncroft Museum 25th August event Celebrating the Centenary.

Annual Meeting:

• Reports from officers.

• Committee: Carol Preece and Sue Hiscocks have retired from committee. Sue thanked them especially Carol for her time as president. Christine Farrell and Carolyn Middleton were elected as members.

• Sue Miller was voted to continue as president.

Business over refreshments were served and followed by a quiz. Barbara Smith stretched our brains more than a little. There were periods of complete quiet when you could almost hear the cogs turning, also periods of laughter. Our team didn’t quite come last and should have stuck to the maxim of “keep to your first answer”.

A great evening.
