FOOD lovers looking for new ideas will be spoilt for choice thanks to a new Game’s On leaflet. The leaflet is filled with recipes from TV chef Mike Robinson for venison, pigeon, duck and pheasant. Copies are being distributed at country shows and sent to game dealers, restaurants and pubs. Simon Hamlyn of the British Association of Shooting and Conservation said: “This is another great example of how BASC is working to increase the popularity of game meat, British game is wild, healthy and local. These are attributes that increasing numbers of people consider important in choosing what they eat.”
