A NINE-month-old cat has had to have a leg amputated after being shot.
Police are appealing for information after vets treating the male cat found a pellet embedded in its leg.
The injury is believed to have occurred between 9am on August 15 and 9am on August 17 in Beaufort End, Honeybourne.
The cat is white with black spots and police are asking if anyone witnessed the attack to contact them on 101 with incident number 0446S of August 26.
