MUCH Birch school has partnered with a Monmouth-based charity, to raise funds for children who are less fortunate overseas.
During the last academic year, the school raised £1332.64 for Hands Around the World.
And the link was such a success that they asked to continue during the current year and have so far raised more than £250.
"We are promoting our Christmas party to ensure that the children in our overseas centres get a Christmas party," said Hands Around the World's operations manager Jane Powell.
"This is what Much Birch would like their £250 to go towards."
Hands Around the World helps centres in six different African countries and one in India support 2,500 vulnerable children by ensuring they are clothed and fed, have a home and are receiving an education.
