WITH only a week to go until the big day, our Camera Club picture of the day features a very festive view of Hereford's Church Street, taken by Ian Jebb.
With strings of twinkling lights glowing through a flurry of snow and Hereford Cathedral in the background, this photograph could have could come straight from a Christmas card.
Arguably one of the prettiest streets in the city, the narrow thoroughfare leading from the Cathedral Close to High Town hides a great wealth of history behind its tall, largely Georgian brick-skinned frontages, with some buildings dating back to the 1300's.
Church Street is now home to a unique collection of small, independent shops and cafés offering everything from health foods to haberdashery.
