A REFERRAL has been made to social services after a driver was caught giving their child a lift home from school without a licence or any insurance.
The silver Vauxhall Corsa was stopped and seized by police on The Westlands estate last Tuesday (February 12), and the driver is due in court.
Posting on Droitwich Cops, police said: “Driver and his partner thought it was appropriate to pick their child up from the primary school in an uninsured car and without a driving licence.
“Now he doesn't have a car, he has a court date to follow and a referral has been made to social services for putting their children at risk.”
The post continued: “If you are aware of others like this who are happy to endanger people by not having the correct documents please let us know by phoning telephone number 101.
