A TRIAL date has been set for a man accused of sexually assaulting and falsely imprisoning a woman.
Gabriel Partene appeared in Worcester Crown Court yesterday to face charges for allegedly attacking a woman in Taylor's Lane, Worcester.
The prosecution claims that Partene attacked the alleged victim, who is in her 30s, after both of them left Monroe's Cellar Bar in Foregate Street on January 26.
The defendant, who has lived in the UK since 2016, is subject to a night curfew and must not contact the alleged victim as part of his bail conditions.
The 24-year-old's new address is in Long Street, Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, the court heard.
Judge Jim Tindal set the trial date for September 2 at Worcester Crown Court.
Peter Grice was prosecuting and Stephen Hamblett was defending at yesterday's hearing.
