BEWDLEY theatre fans are invited to a night of laugh-out-loud comedy where the audience take centre stage.

The acclaimed comedy Instructions for American Servicemen will be performed at St George's Hall on Saturday, March 23.

The play is set in June 1942 and follows the story of a group of confused Yankee servicemen, who will be played by the audience, who land in rural England.

They find themselves in a place where everyone speaks funny, boils their food into oblivion and goes on endlessly about the weather.

A crack team of experts come to brief them on the rules of British life - but the experts, who are not really experts at all, are just as bad as their students.

Tickets for the performance are available from the cafe in St. George's Hall or online via www.bewdleyfestival.org.uk

The show will begin at 7.30pm.
