POLICE are appealing for witnesses or information after a man was robbed in Malvern in the early hours of Thursday (March 14).

At around 12.20am, a man in his 40s withdrew cash from a cashpoint at Morrisons, in Roman Way, when three teenagers approached him.

The man was threatened and assaulted, before cash was stolen from him. It is reported one of the offenders was holding a 'bladed object', although it is not believed to have been used in the assault.

The victim sustained head injuries but did not need to go to hospital. A 15-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man, from Droitwich, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery. Officers are searching for a third teen, described as male, white, aged around 16 to 17, of a medium build, with dark hair, around 5’10”. He was believed to be wearing a blue Nike air hooded top, grey Nike gloves, blue trousers and blue trainers.
