SIZZLING sausage and bacon are set to tantalise the taste buds at Hartlebury’s annual Big Breakfast for Cancer Research UK later this month.

The popular morning feast has become a firm favourite in the village’s community calendar and raised almost £1,000 towards vital research last year.

Full English and continental breakfasts will be dished up by Trefor Cook, of Bliss Gate-based TS Hospitality, and his partner Pam Jarvie, who are both supporters of the charity’s Wyre Forest fundraising committee.

Committee founder and co-ordinator Margaret Griffin said: “It’s a lovely social get-together that attracts a lot of locals and supporters from across Wyre Forest.”

The Big Breakfast is at Hartlebury Village Hall, in Waresley Court Road, on Saturday, March 23 from 9am until 1pm and costs £10 per person, or £5 for children under five.
