A GARDEN bonfire got out of control in Redditch - causing smoke to billow across a nearby road.
Firefighters were called to put out the fire in Evesham Road in the Headless Cross area at around 6.15pm yesterday (Monday).
Hereford and Worcester Fire Control tweeted: "@HWFireRedditch extinguish unattended garden bonfire on Evesham Road #HeadlessCross causing smoke across nearby roadway using 1 hose reel jet."
