AN UNDERSTANDING animal lover is needed to adopt a rescue dog who is hard of hearing.

Brian is a good natured Old English Bulldog in the care of RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch through no fault of his own.

He is a special chap, looking for a special home as he is hard of hearing.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, said: "Brian is a friendly and affectionate boy who loves company and would be really happy in a home where someone is around a good part of the day.

"He enjoys his walks and needs an active new owner.

"Brian is good with other dogs and would be fine living with a canine friend. Give this boy your time and patience and he'll make a great companion and pet."

The 18-month-old is described as being in good condition, housetrained, neutered, microchipped, vet checked and vaccinated.

He will be rehomed with four weeks' free pet insurance. Please call Geraldine for more details on 01886 822083.

Cats and rabbits available for adoption can be seen at The Holdings Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Holdings Lane, Kempsey, Worcester WR5 3FP any day, except Wednesdays, between 11am and 4pm or call 01905 821272 (option 2).

People are invited to the branch's new shop at The Holdings, which is open every day (except Wednesdays) between 11am and 3pm.

Mrs Haynes said: "There are lots of lovely things to buy and you can help all the rescued animals at the same time".
