A BUSINESSWOMAN from Kidderminster will lead a new Worcestershire branch of the national Girl Tribe Gang networking group, which is set to launch this month.

Girl Tribe Gang, an award-winning community of hard-working women across the UK, is expanding into Worcestershire for the first time in an effort to reduce isolation and loneliness and support entrepreneurism among like-minded females.

The collective, which was founded by ex-NHS strategist Catherine Asta Labbett in 2017, has gone on to launch 40 tribes nationwide and now has more than 1,500 members.

The tribes meet up in stylish venues in the heart of their communities every month to discuss stress and mental health and support each other in their business ventures.

Sally Wright, who lives in Kidderminster, will lead the 'Worcester Tribe' while co-ordinating with the company's founder.

"This is a really exciting venture for me and one I’m honoured to be involved in," said Sally, who set up her own business Sally Dreams Photography last year, leaving her corporate career as an accountant after 21 years following a life-changing battle with infertility.

"I’m looking forward to finding like-minded women in my community, women who are working from their kitchen table or home office doing work that works for them and bringing everyone together.

"It’s all about creating a community of like-minded women, a level playing field and an eco-system of support and encouragement amongst women who totally get what it feels like to be on your own in business or aspiring to one day quit the 9 to 5.”

Sally is on a mission to inspire other women to set up their own businesses and to help to reduce some of the isolation that women who work for themselves experience.

She is inviting local women to join her at the Worcester Tribe launch on Tuesday, April 30 at Primo in Worcester from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Sally has arranged for award winning Business + Mindset mentor Gemma Went to be the first speaker for the Power Hour talk.

Malvern-based Gemma will speak about her own inspiring journey - from unemployed single mum to multi-six figure entrepreneur - sharing the crucial elements that kept her sane in the early days, and some of the secrets behind her success.
