A CHURCH has undergone a £500,000 makeover which included the grade II listed building getting a new roof.
The work at Holy Trinity Church, Preston Wynne involved grouting and pointing, some structural repairs, decoration and a separate toilet and tea station was built.
The church is uniquely situated in the middle of a field and is still actively used for worship.
There will be a celebration service and party on Sunday, May 26 at 11.15am in the church to signify the end of the project.
The project was completed on time and within budget.
