TODAY'S old picture from the archives of the Worcester News dates back to November 1970 when the former City of Worcester Military Band joined forces with the local branch of the British Legion. Formed six years previously, the band comprised mainly former servicemen, playing brass and reed instruments under the direction of Mr George Potter.
