READERS have been sending in their fantastic images of the unusual clown formations that covered the county's skies during Storm Miguel.

Dave Throup, Environment Agency manager, confirmed that at one point shelf clouds, a low, horizontal, wedge-shaped arcus cloud, were being spotted in the skies.

The storm hit the county on Friday, bringing with it strong wind and rain, which brought down trees in some places.

Thanks to our readers for use of these incredible images.
