A DOG was left needing medical treatment after it was attacked near the Greenway Bridge, Hereford.
Police are investigating the attack, which took place at about 11.30am today.
The dog was attacked by another dog on Bartonsham Dairy field near to the Greenway Bridge.
The offending dog is described as a white English bull terrier with a patch of black fur over one eye.
The owner of the dog is described as a white female aged about 50 with short white hair. She was wearing a bright blue short-sleeved blouse.
She also had a brown boxer-type dog with her at the time.
