A MAN has been arrested following an armed robbery in Kidderminster where a 14-year-old boy was threatened at knife point and his bike stolen.
The robbery happened in St George's Park, Radford Avenue, just before 7pm yesterday (Wednesday, June 19).
A boy was approached in the park by two males, and was threatened at knife point. The boy's green and black push bike was then stolen.
Nearby police were flagged by the boy, whose mother was also close by.
An officer found a person matching the description of one suspect.
The suspect then ran off, climbing over two fences in a failed attempt to get away.
One man is now in custody on suspicion of robbery and another male was found in possession of cannabis.
No one was hurt during the incident and investigations are currently ongoing.
