A BLAZE destroyed a van outside Sedgley police station this afternoon (June 20).
West Midlands Fire Service were called to Gospel End Street just after 3pm to reports of a van on fire outside the station.
A fire crew from Wolverhampton attended the scene and quickly put out the flames.
A fire service spokesman confirmed that two fire fighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet to tackle the blaze.
Gospel End Street was temporarily closed but has since reopened.
Traffic in the area is still heavy, according to police.
