FINAL details have been announced for the Ledbury Celebration, where food, music and poetry will combine to bring in the crowds.

Around 25 local food producers will have stalls, on the last day of the Ledbury Poetry Festival, July 14.

Food Group spokesman Griff Holliday said: “ Enjoy the entertainment. Ledbury Fringe and Ledbury Poetry Festival pull out all the stops for a fun-filled afternoon of music and poetry.

“From noon, Ledbury Fringe will present performances on the hour from local music acts, including Puffer with a blend of original songs and covers, Tyler Massey at 1pm exploring contemporary folk, Hannah Davies at 2pm with her own original songs, Garrington T. Jones at 3pm exploring Blues, Folk and Roots and finally at 4pm.

“Rubble will be presenting “classic covers” to round off the day.”

But poetry will also get a look-in.

Mr Holliday said: “Join ‘Poetry Pandemonialists’ Steve Pottinger and Emma Purshouse as they change the world one poetry gig at a time at 1.45pm and 2.45pm. And local poetry lover Clova Perez-Corral will present a selection of her favourite poems at 12.45pm.”

He added: Ledbury Food Group working with Ledbury Fringe, Ledbury Poetry Festival, and Ledbury Town Council bring you the best of local food and drink, accompanied by a feast of music and poetry by Ledbury’s historic Master’s House in St Katherine’s car park, form 11am to 5pm on the day.
