PARENTS looking for somewhere fun to entertain the family this summer are being invited to bdht’s family fun days.

The events, hosted by bdht and raising cash for charity, provide the opportunity for people to come together in their local community and enjoy an afternoon of bouncy castles, face painting, pony rides, games, crafts and tombola stall as well as information stands and demonstrations from local service providers.

Ashlea Green, from bdht, said: “This year, for the first time, we’re putting on four separate fun days across the district so we can involve more people than ever before.

"We hope people come along with family and friends to enjoy the free inflatables, as well as face painting, toy stalls and other activities. There’s always a fantastic atmosphere, lots of fun and laughter and memories to be made.”

Any money raised will be split equally and donated to bdht’s five chosen charities, which for 2019 are MIND, PDSA, Primrose Hospice, Children with Cancer and Women’s Aid.

The first bdht family fun days will run from noon to 3.30pm at King George’s Playing Fields, Sidemoor, on August 8

After that the fun days will be at Shawfield in Wythall on August 15, Burcot Lane in Bromsgrove on August 22, and finally in Lyttleton Avenue Playing Fields, Charford, on August 29
