ONE man's experiences of driving Land Rovers across Africa and Europe are recounted in a book that will be launched in Castlemorton next week.
Martin Smithson wrote My Landy Life to tell the world about his epic adventures driving the iconic all-terrain vehicles over some of the roughest territory in the world.
The book tell many of his experiences when the progress of his journeys becomes temporarily impeded, either through mechanical problems or human factors, and how he and his fellow travellers won through.
He said: "I've spent many years behind the wheel of a Land Rover, and I was keen to share my memories of what we got up to."
Mr Smithson will be launching his book at the Robin Hood in Castlemorton on Friday, August 16, and every book buyer will also get a £2.50 voucher to spend in the pub that night.
The book is published by Greyhound Self Publishing of Malvern and costs £12.50.
