A WOMAN suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital after a fire spread to a hedge at a rural house.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were called by the fire service shortly before 2pm this afternoon to Bleathwood, near Brimfield, north Herefordshire.
"We sent one ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham," a spokesperson said.
"Crews treated one woman who had suffered serious injuries.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said it appeared a fire had spread from an incinerator to a hedgerow.
