FOUR colleagues from a city-based property management firm completed the Three Peaks Challenge for charity.

Mitchell Williamson, Rebecca Usher, Gillian Stanley and Sharon Cross from Mainstay Group completed the 27-hour challenge for Cancer Research UK, raising a total of £1,547.

Each member of the team has a personal connection to cancer which inspired their choice of charity.

The challenge started on August 24 where the team reached the summit of Ben Nevis in 5 hours 15 minutes, the team then headed to Scaffel Pike which was completed overnight where it then took them 5 hours 30 minutes.

Mr Williamson said " This was the most physically and mentally challenging activity myself and the rest of the team have ever done.

"After recently losing my Grandmother to cancer it provided me with extra motivation to complete the challenge and reach our £1000 fundraising target.

"All of the team did amazingly and I am sure it was an experience none of us will ever forget."
