TWO men have been arrested after a gun was discovered during a police raid in Kingswinford.
Police searched an address on Dudley Road at 7.20pm yesterday evening (Friday, September 20).
A gun was discovered and two men, aged 25 and 52, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
Police said a later examination revealed the gun was an imitation firearm.
The 52-year-old has since been released without charge, but the 25-year-old remains in custody on suspicion of a motoring offence.
A police spokesperson said: "Police searched an address on Dudley Road, Kingswinford, at around 7.20pm yesterday.
"A gun was recovered and two men aged 25 and 52 were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
"A subsequent examination revealed the item to be an imitation firearm.
"The older man has now been released without charge, while the other remains in custody on suspicion of a motoring offence."
