A MAN is seriously injured and has been taken to hospital after a car crash.

The crash involved a taxi and a car in Hadley Lane, Droitwich.

Two ambulance, a paramedic officer and a Midlands Air Ambulance critical care car attended the scene.

Two people have been taken to hospital.

A man has been taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham with serious injuries.

A woman has been taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital after receiving minor injuries.

The crash happened at around 2.57pm today.

An eye witness said: "It was quite a big smash.

"I'm stuck in the middle of it. I'm about three cars behind it.

"There's a lot of queues and the traffic is bad."
