A KIND-HEARTED student at Wolverley Secondary School has donated her hair to be made into a wig for a child with cancer - all while raising money for Samaritans.
Year eight student Gracie Rose braved the shave at Nikki's Hair and Beauty Salon in Kidderminster on Thursday and doubled her fundraising target of £1,000.
As well as donating her hair to the Little Princess Trust, 12-year-old Gracie decided to raise funds for Samaritans after her school was affected by suicide.
Speaking after the head shave, Gracie said: “I was super excited to brave the shave last Thursday.
"I am overwhelmed and humbled with the fantastic response and support from so many.
"I set an ambitious target of £1,000 and I am thrilled that I have raised over £2,000. It’s not too late to donate.”
