A SPOOKTACULAR circus is heading to Dudley town centre in time for October half term.

Gandeys Circus arrives at the Flood Street car park on Friday October 25 following shows in Merry Hill in previous years.

An international cast of over 30 circus stars will perform in a fully-heated 1,000-seat theatre big top, with state-of-the-art sound and lighting.

The show, from the producers of the Chinese State Circus, promises spooky thrills in time for Halloween.

Highlights include bone breaking contortionist, a motorbike race round the iron thunderdome and an eye-watering hair hanging act.

A spokesperson for the show said: "The production is full of dance and the mystical musical production numbers that our audiences love and Gandeys is famed for.

"We look forward to welcoming you back with our latest family-friendly production in the new location on Flood Street in Dudley."

The circus runs from Friday, October 25 to Sunday, November 3.
