Renowned local musician Jamie Knight makes a welcome return to Huntingdon Hall with the Manuka Band, and he’s promising “another evening of Christmas hits”.

On top of this, an audience is promised “the best in swing, a groove of soul, classic pop and plenty of lively rock ‘n’ roll”.

A spokesman said: “This tight band knows how to make music really come alive for a truly memorable night.”

And Jamie added: “I’ve had a really busy year performing with the Manuka Band, but of all the venues and different genres of music we play, the annual Christmas Show at Huntingdon Hall is my favourite.

“As ever, we’ll be playing a selection of popular Christmas songs plus a mixture of swing and pop classics.”

The seven-piece Manuka Band combines an eclectic mix of sax, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, drums and, of course, Jamie’s rich and inimitable vocal, featuring a line-up of highly experienced musicians.

With a repertoire ranging from classic swing through 60s rock ‘n’ roll and 70s and 80s pop hits right up to present day chart toppers, Jamie Knight and the Manuka Band “are guaranteed to rock your socks off”.

Even better, Jamie himself has been rummaging through his festive chest for seasonal tunes, for that extra Christmas spice.

The spokesman said: “Each year he adds fresh new songs to his set… what will they be this time?

“Well you’ll have to come along to find out! This will be a fantastic festive night out. This show is sure to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. Start your Christmas with Jamie Knight!”
