A VILLAGE school and cricket club are the lucky recipients of £6,500 in donations for a new adventure trail and cricket team shirts.
Developers Lockley Homes handed the first £5,000 donation to Colwall Church of England Primary School’s playground fund, and will go towards buying a trim trail activity structure.
Colwall Cricket Club received £1,500 to buy around 200 shirts for its thriving junior section.
Olivia Harriman, of The Friends Fundraising Group at Colwall Primary School, said: “I’d like to say a big thank you to Lockley Homes for funding this new adventure trail.
“It’s a wonderful facility and will be a fantastic new addition to the outdoor provision.”
Colwall Cricket Club chairman Kim Berry said: “We’re very grateful to Lockley Homes for sponsoring our junior T-shirts. We have scores of young children in Colwall, and it helps make them feel special to have their own club T-shirt.”
