Two men have been arrested and a white powder thought to be cocaine has been seized by police in Worcester.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: “Two men have been arrested as part of a police investigation which saw officers seize cash and a white powder, believed to be cocaine, from an address in Medway Road, Worcester on Saturday, November 16.
“A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A controlled drug.
“A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug, being concern in the supply of a controlled drug.
“Both have been bailed to return to the police station at a later date.”
The police would not confirm rumours that officers were armed and wore riot gear during the arrests.
