GRITTERS are out on the county's roads as temperatures are set to plunge.
Drivers from Worcestershire County Council's Highways department are spreading grit on primary and secondary roads as temperatures could reach as low as -2C.
Lack of cloud means heat escapes when the sun goes down, leading to a drop in temperature.
Drivers are being asked to take extra care and to only drive as conditions allow.
