A heart-warming holiday story that encourages us all to look after our mental ‘elf comes to the Vesta Tilley Studio in Worcester, this December.

A spokesman said: “Pantomime isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, so that’s why this year the Worcester Repertory Company is offering an alternative to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in the form of A Picture Of Elf.

“Meet Elf number 1-9-6-5: real name, Bobo Sparklepants. Life as an elf has reached breaking point and Bobo seeks professional help of therapist Dr. Moroz to try and regain his Christmas spirit. One psychotherapist, one last appointment before the festive break, one elf, and just one hour in which to help each other.

“As the pair try to get to the route of Bobo’s lack of festive cheer they find common ground and solace in each other’s past and come to realise that it’s okay not to be okay.”

A Picture of Elf runs from Wednesday December 11 to Saturday December 14 and from Tuesday December 17 to Saturday December 21.
