THE timetable for this year's Stourport Rotary Santa Sleigh has been confirmed.

Once again, Father Christmas will tour the streets of Stourport throughout December to raise money for local charities.

Stourport Rotary Club will be bringing Santa's sleigh to the Co-op in Lombard Street between 10am and 4pm this Saturday (December 14).

On Sunday (December 15), the sleigh will start travelling around the streets, starting at Power Station Road, Riverside and Mill Lane between 4pm and 9pm.

Santa will pass through Lower Lickhill, Vernon Road and Dorsett Road areas between 6pm and 9pm on Monday (December 16), before riding into Wilden Top Road, The Grove and The Birches between the same times on Tuesday (December 17).

The Walshes are next on Santa's list between 6pm and 9pm on Wednesday (December 18), before the sleigh moves on to Lickhill and Burlish areas between 6pm and 9pm on Thursday (December 19).

From 6pm to 9pm on Friday (December 20), it's Newtown and Minster Road's turn, followed by a visit to Tesco in Severn Road between 10am and 4pm on Saturday (December 21).

That evening, from 5pm to 9pm, Santa will visit Church Walk, Heightington Place and Abberley Avenue, and the last stop will be at Tesco from 10am to 4pm on Sunday (December 22).

Pete Roberts, of Stourport Rotary Club, said: "All money raised will stay in Stourport and only goes to local charities.

"If mums and dads want to take pictures of their children in front of the sleigh, they can do.

"If they want to send a letter to Santa, we do ask that they put their name and address on so that Santa can send a letter back."
