A KIDDERMINSTER youngster has received a coveted award for his dedication and commitment to martial arts.
Callum Hawkins, aged 12, who has been training at Eclipse Martial Arts in Wolverley since he was four years old, has bagged a UK Martial Arts Hall of Fame Award.
The young martial arts star has multiple British, European and World Champion titles and holds a 2nd Dan black belt.
Callum's instructor, Master Will Jennings, says he feels "totally elated" about his student receiving the award.
He said: "Callum has been recognised for his skill up and down the country.
"He's got around 21 title belts, he's very good with weaponry and he's been around most of the tournaments around the country.
"I was absolutely shocked, but he does work hard and trains four times a week.
"He excels at everything we put in front of him."
