A PERSON has been hit by a train in Blackminster.
The GWR train was travelling from Honeybourne towards Evesham when it emergency stopped this morning.
Police were contacted at 10.42am regarding a concern for safety in Blackminster.
Rupert Tisor, a passenger on the train described the emergency stop: "I heard a banging noise and the brakes squeaking hard and there was big judder."
Mr Tisor added that he was "a bit shaken up."
National Rail placed a full stop on the train line preventing trains from travelling. Mr Tisor said the train has been stationary for around an hour-and-a-half.
As a result of this, trains may be delayed or revised. This is expected until 2pm. The routes affected are between Hereford and Worcester Shrub Hill and London Paddington.
