When did you open and why?: We originally opened in 2016, and it was our vision to create a unique, world-class hairdressing experience in the Stourbridge area, with a real focus on delivering exceptional customer service to our clients.
Tell us about your business: Bliss & Bliss Hair is run by a unique mother and son partnership, Jill and Lawson Bliss. We have recently opened brand new premises after completing a high-end salon renovation, allowing us to relocate and expand our business, welcoming new clients and employing new talented staff. Also, we are famous for our wonderfully yummy muffins and biscuits, which are free for all clients!
Who works there? We have 6 full-time members of staff, Jade, Jill Bliss, Laura, Lawson Bliss, Jess and Jayden, with three additional part-time staff.
Who are your customers? We have a large customer base ranging from local clients in the Stourbridge area to clients that travel from all over the country to sample the Bliss & Bliss experience, everyone is welcome!
What’s your most memorable / proudest moment in business? Opening our brand new, state of the art premises which has helped to grow our business and expand our ever-growing team.
Have you had any strange/ quirky suggestions or stories from customers? We have heard loads of stories, but what is said in the salon stays in the salon!
What are your ambitions for the future? We have ambitions to grow our business further, allowing us to employ more staff, expand our client base and continuing to provide great customer service.
