BOYS are being offered the chance to be a chorister for an afternoon at Worcester Cathedral, this weekend.
And who knows where it might lead?
Boys aged between 7 and 11 are invited to come to the event at the cathedral on Sunday March 15, from 1.15pm.
The cathedral's press officer, Susan MacLeod said: "Participants will join our current group of choristers for the afternoon in a sequence of rehearsals and singing workshops, culminating in taking part with the choir in a sung Evensong service in the inspiring setting of the cathedral.
"Led by the cathedral’s music staff, boys will be able to experience what it’s like to be a chorister, learning a bit about what membership of the choir involves, and the unique opportunities it opens up."
She added: "There will also be an opportunity to go on a short tour of the historic cathedral, and meet other key members of the cathedral’s staff."
