THE importance of younger people in Ludlow and Tenbury taking notice of the need to follow Government advice on not mixing and going out is demonstrated in figures from South Korea where there has been broad community testing.
These show that the biggest cohort of people with the Covid-19 virus are in their 20’s.
Roughly one in three in this age group have the virus but because they are young many will have no or only mild symptoms. However, they can pass it on to others including in particular those who are elderly and have health conditions and so are at much greater risk of becoming seriously ill or death if they become infected with the virus.
