SO many networks of co-operation are resulting from the Coronavirus pandemic.
It seems as if we are all united against one common enemy - the virus - than finding fault with others.
It is heartening to see how a Worcester family have been cooking homemade meals
to give to NHS workers on the Coronavirus frontline at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Haris Saleem, chairman of the Worcester Muslim Welfare Association, and his wife Yasmin Haris have been spending their mornings cooking up dishes and have so far given 50 rice boxes to hospital staff.
As their daughter Hinna Haris said: “Mum and dad would say no matter what religion, culture or background we all bleed the same and these are the times we should come together and help each other.”
Wise words indeed, let us hope this message is remembered and acted upon in the community long after the virus has left and has become a distant memory.
