FLOODING in Tenbury will be debated by parliament early next month.
Harriett Baldwin, whose West Worcestershire constituency includes Tenbury, has been given Wednesday, June 3 as the provisional date for an adjournment debate.
This will enable her to raise awareness of the issue in Tenbury where she is trying to secure funding for a flood defence scheme.
Mrs Baldwin has already raised the issue with Environment Secretary George Eustace.
The flooding in February means that some businesses are still waiting for repair work that has been delayed by the coronavirus. Attempts to secure funding for flood defences for the town have so far failed.
