A TEENAGER was hit by a car after a driver mounted a pavement in Dudley.

The driver left the scene after the teenager was hit on Aintree Way in the Milking Bank area, at around 9.10pm on Wednesday (May 20).

The teenager, a 17-year-old boy, was taken to hospital after suffering leg injuries.

West Midlands Police are now investigating to identity the car and the driver.

A spokeswoman from West Midlands Police said: "We’re investigating after a car mounted the pavement and hit a teenager in Aintree Way, Dudley, at around 9.10pm yesterday.

"The vehicle left the scene and the 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with leg injuries.
