POLICE and armed officers carried out a search at a home after being called to reports of a disturbance in Malvern.

Four men were believed to have entered an address in Baxter Walk, Malvern at around 5.30am yesterday. No one was harmed during the incident.

Officers attended, including armed officers, and carried out a search of a home and surrounding area but didn't find anything. A cordon remains in place and officers will remain in the area to offer reassurance.

Detective Inspector Tony Garner said: “We know that a significant police presence can cause concern, and I would like to reassure local residents that a search of the area has been carried out, but that at this time nothing untoward has been identified. We are particularly interested to hear from anyone who may have heard or seen anyone acting suspiciously, or any unusual vehicles."

“Officers will remain in the area into the evening to carry out patrols and to provide reassurance to the local community.”
