A MAN has died in Norton despite extensive emergency efforts to save his life this morning (Wednesday July 8).

A team of paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to an address in St George's Road at around 10.40am after reports of a medical emergency.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "Four ambulances and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car attended the scene.

"On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was in a serious condition.

"Ambulance staff immediately administered advanced life support but sadly, despite their best efforts, it became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
