MORETON Rangers have made a determined start to another Gloucestershire Northern Senior Football League Division Two promotion bid.
They followed up a 5-2 thrashing of Quedgeley Wanderers by romping home 4-1 at Tuffley Rovers Reserves.
Mark Boydell, Lee Brooks, Richard Craig and Sam McPherson scored the goals for second-placed Moreton.
Relegated Winchcombe Town could not secure a second successive win, losing 2-1 at Quedgeley. Garth Mc- Donald was on target.
Chipping Norton Town got off to a winning start in the Witney and District FA League Premier Division.
Keiran Watts, Warwick Tompkins and Gary Smith netted in a 3-0 victory over Aston.
Newcomers Bourton Rovers triumphed 5-2 at Nomads in Division One thanks to Mark Payne (2), Matt Winter and Sam Mattock (2).
