EVESHAM United's poor run of Calor Southern League Division One South and West form continued after losing 2-0 against FA Cup giant-killers Shortwood United at Meadowbank.
It was the Robins' third successive defeat and leaves Paul Collicutt's side without a league win on their travels since beating Stratford Town on Boxing Day.
United did not look like ending their dismal sequence of results and failed to force a single save out of Tom King in the Wood goal all afternoon.
In a low-key affair, Shortwood were dominant throughout without having to get out of second gear.
Evesham failed to take advantage of a stiff breeze behind them in the first-half and the Nailsworth side held a one-goal lead at the break.
Adam Price made amends for missing a sitter moments earlier by slotting in from close range on 40 minutes after United keeper John Bateman pushed aside Ross Langworthy's low cross.
The second period continued in the same vein with Evesham unable to create an opening in front of goal and an ordinary Shortwood side asking all the questions.
Price again found the back of the net for a second time on 57 minutes, waltzing through the United defence before planting a neat finish past the diving Bateman to effectively end the game as a contest.
The introduction of three substitutes failed to make an impact for out-of-sorts Evesham with Shortwood content to sit on their lead.
Carl Brown flashed a header over and loanee Ed Williams, in his last match before returning to Cheltenham Town, scooped a shot wide but the result was not in doubt long before the final whistle.
Evesham: Bateman, Wilson, Mansell, Wellon, Axton, Watkin, Kennedy (Barnfield 78), Brown, Palmer (Jackson 58), Vercesi, Williams (Eyre 73). Subs not used: Tambling, Davis.
Attendance: 101.
