EVESHAM under 14s opened 2015 with a fine 24-0 win at Cheltenham Tigers to end a run of four defeats.
They started playing with a gusty wind behind them and dominated through their scrum, which led to the first try.
Their backs moved the ball for winger George McNally to speed in under the posts and Owain Hann converted.
Cheltenham were denied by strong defence, before McNally caught a home kick and raced through for a converted effort.
Winger Scott Pillinger quickly added a third try after good work from number eight Tristan O’Neill.
Josh Sellick completed the scoring in the second-half with an unconverted effort following a break by full-back Harrison Walker and solid forward play.
Isaac Stephens was player-of-the-match for Evesham, who visit Tewkesbury on Sunday.
